Hello. I'm Marie. I'm a board-certified holistic health practitioner, certified life coach, and the owner and content writer of and for Herpotheca. 

I've coexisted with the Herpes Simplex Virus since 1980. My fiance', who was more insecure than I could ever have imagined, gave it to me on purpose, thinking I'd be bound to him for life. Needless to say, I dumped him on the spot (no pun intended) and was in tears for several weeks. So, if you've been in a similar situation, I get it. 

In the beginning, I could go for decades without a single outbreak, but as I aged, I began experiencing frequent and severe symptoms that left me traumatized and more fearful with every outbreak. I doubt there's anything you could tell me about living with the herpes virus that I couldn't relate to. If you are troubled by herpes regularly, I know your anguish.

Because I'm a Highly Sensitive Woman, taking prescription medication became out of the question. It caused terrible side effects, leading up to my researching natural alternatives. Over the past 28+ years, I've learned there's no one-size-fits-all approach to putting HSV or any of the conditions it causes in remission. Restoring peace, happiness, and health is an individualistic journey, but I'm here to help you if possible.

I wish I could tell you that Herpotheca was born overnight, but I made so many mistakes in "business" that it took on many names, faces, and paths over the years before it became Herpotheca. But I want you to know you've landed in the right place if you're searching for answers,  insights, and natural remedies for putting HSV in remission based on your unique individuality, intuition, and freedom of choice. My Qualifications

I'm a certified holistic health practitioner through The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and an NLP-certified life coach.

My experience includes life coaching, teaching nutrition and behavior modification classes, content writing on nutrition, herbalism, supplements, metaphysical topics, and spiritualism for a social media content agency.

My wellness journey has led me to study under Nicole Apelian, Ph. D., Sarah Otto, and The Herbal Academy. I've gained certifications in Healing the Gut Microbiome, Mastering Herbal Formulations, and Tea Blending, all of which contribute to my holistic approach to health and wellness. 

I also have 25+ years of experience reading Tarot for family, friends, and clients. My studies include Richard Knight's Tarot Mastery and Psychic Development interactive classes and Sal Jade's Tarot Card Success and Remove Blocks to Psychic Power With Past Life Therapy courses. For a brief time, I offered free readings for a time at Biddy Tarot, which was a rewarding experience. I no longer provide "readings". It clashes with my beliefs. I mention it only so you know I have knowledge and understanding of metaphysical concepts, in case you do, too.
