Gather the following supplies. If using aloe vera gel, use a small squeeze bottle. If using witch hazel, use a small spray bottle. Use as often as you like to keep your hands sanitized.
- 2/3 cup alcohol(ethanol or ethyl alcohol)
- 1/3 cup aloe vera gel, witch hazel, or vegetable glycerin
- 8-12 drops of an antiviral essential oil, such as lavender, lemon, or thyme. Herpotheca Remedy Oil recipe would be perfect!
NOTE: Hand sanitizer (this recipe or any other) does not replace washing hands with soap and hot water for 18 seconds and rinsing.
